With the introduction of new Samsung products, two of them are being harshly criticized for copying Apple again
Yesterday afternoon in Europe, Samsung held the second Galaxy Unpacked of 2024 dedicated mainly to the new Galaxy Z Flip6 and Fold 6. Everything is honey on flakes remembering that this It’s already the sixth generation of foldable devices and Apple finds itself alone in a corner without any device of this kind.. Curiously, there is something strange that some media, YouTubers and fans are commenting on social networks. Samsung seems to have taken the concept of imitation and blatant copying to the extreme for two products presented in particular, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Buds3. Do they remind you of any existing Apple products? The South Koreans have also done this at the operating system level.
It seems that Samsung took advantage of concepts already known to Apple with the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Buds3
The The first complaints and criticisms from users were aimed directly at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 for not introducing more updates than the previous generation. Instead, they surprised with the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Ring, which Apple could follow in the same vein in the future with its own version.
Today was a huge L for Samsung:
• Ring looks good (if a bit limited compared to Oura) until you realize it’s $400 and only works on Samsung devices
• Watch Ultra is the most shameless copy of an Apple product in ages—and it’s hideous
• Wait, it gets more shameless—Buds3 and… pic.twitter.com/IKmht3YDK6

One of the harshest criticisms It was stated by Snazzy Labs (YouTube channel) on X stating that The Galaxy Watch Ultra is “the most blatant copy of an Apple product in a long time”The criticism didn’t end there, he also said that he was more shameless with his Buds3 and Buds3 Pro series of headphones.
These products will compete directly with the Apple Watch Ultra, AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro 2 from Apple, although those from Cupertino will surely surprise us with new generations during the second half of the year. Of course, in our cover image it was a tweet from Apple Hub claiming that it was some sort of “copy and paste”.
As also pointed out in other media such as Business Insider, iMore, ZDNETetc.
Product comparisons are on the rise
Just take a look at X to see the number of tweets written about Samsung and the copies that has been done in its latest accessories. The reality is that Samsung may not have found a solitary formula like the one it has done with its foldables.. That doesn’t mean you have to be tied to an exclusive design but really, even with the name of the watchwe realize that it reveals Samsung’s intentions a little.
We know that those from Cupertino resist and take years to launch something for which they are not 100% prepared. And that translates directly into products that change the world. It happened recently with the Apple Vision Pro, it failed with the Apple Car project and it may have changed history in terms of device charging, but it was equally outdone with AirPower.

As the following meme says, great artists steal. Does Samsung have a need for that? We’ll see if time is on their side, as Apple still needs to respond with a new generation of iPhone and AirPods, which could happen together in September.
