Lei Jin, CEO of Xiaomi has officially announced that the brand’s next Ultra models will be released worldwide. An arrival in France is therefore more than likely, even if the name of the first model concerned remains to be determined. Does this mean that they will also be released in the United States?
It goes without saying that the lack of release of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra in Europe surprised many. This smartphone appeared to be a real positive development from the Chinese giant, with its one-inch sensor and its partnership with Leica. If you were expecting it, good news, the boss of Xiaomi split a very short tweet that should cheer you up.

The formalization of the new numbered ranges at Xiaomi traditionally takes place around December. There is therefore reason to believe that the next range, possibly the Xiaomi 13, will be affected by this statement. However, Xiaomi also released Xiaomi 11Ts last September, so we are not immune to Xiaomi 12Ts in the meantime.
Entering the USA?
Beyond the significant interest of Xiaomi’s premium smartphone, XDA points out that this announcement probably hides another. If we know the Chinese giant well in France since it has occupied the top 3 in sales for some time now, its arrival in the country of Uncle Sam has not yet taken place.
In particular, a blacklisting of the company in early 2021, finally resolved. We can also add that the American smartphone market leaves much less room for Android: around 50% of users use an iPhone, compared to just under a quarter in France. Besides, Samsung is also ultra dominating on Android devices.
