Once the phone is off, take out the SIM card and memory card. After this, dry the phone with a hair dryer. But keep in mind that keep the hair dryer a little away so that the strong wind does not reach the phone.
put inside the rice
Clean the water visible on the top of the phone with a paper napkin. If you do not have a hair dryer, then put the phone inside dry rice. Be careful not to let the rice get inside the headphone jack, charging port or SIM tray. Keep the phone inside the rice for at least 24 hours.

Stick tape in phone holes
If you do not have polythene or it has become wet, then definitely do one thing in backup. Stick the tape on the mic, charging port, headphone jack, speaker and other places on the phone. This will cover your phone and water will not be able to enter inside.
