A common design idea, although they are not identical
It is enough to take a look at the photographs of these Honor 80 to verify that they belong to the same family. Although there are elements that differentiate them, such as the rear camera module or the format of front camera on the screenwith the Honor 80 SE and Honor 80 having a hole in the screen and the Honor 80 Pro a pill format for its double lens.
Regarding screen, all three have curved OLED panels with different sizes. 6.7 inches for Honor 80 SE, 6.67 inches for Honor 80 and 6.78 inches for the Honor 80 Pro. Sizes that are not too far apart, but enough so that they have a few millimeters of difference in dimensions and the weight is 175, 180 and 188 grams respectively.
Good processors and with great photographic bets
To see that these three devices ultimately belong to different ranges, all you have to do is look at their processors. mediatek It is the bet for the mid-range, the Honor 80 SE, which mounts a Dimensity 900. On the side of Qualcomm the other two fall, having the brand new Snapdragon 782G in the Honor 80 and with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in the Honor 80 Pro. All of them with 8 and 12 GB RAM optionshaving the ‘SE’ a unique capacity of 256GB storage and having his two older brothers with this option or that of 512GB.
If we talk about batteries, all three support fast charging up to 66 W. Of course, the Honor 80 SE is left with the smallest battery, with a capacity of 4,600mAhwhile the Honor 80 and 80 Pro have a capacity of 4,800mAh.
In the photographic section, the selfie stands out especially. The Honor 80 SE and Honor 80 mount a 32 megapixel front lens which, at least on paper, seems like a good option, but without much fanfare. It is in the Honor 80 Pro where we find a dual 50+2 megapixel front cameramade up of a main lens and a depth sensor that, together with artificial intelligence, promise great results with resolutions up to 6,112 x 8,160p.
Already in the rear we find other differences. The Honor 80 SE mounts a triple camera of 64+5+2 megapixels with a main, wide angle and macro lens. The same cameras have the Honor 80, but raising the main one to 160 megapixels and the wide angle to 8 megapixels. The Honor 80 Pro matches its middle brother in all three, but instead of a macro it mounts a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
How could it be otherwise, all three devices come with Magic OS 7. This is the new version of the Honor customization layer that has been presented today and is based on Android 13.
