Change the unlock code in a few steps
- Unlock your device and enter the Settings app
- Scroll down and tap on Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID depending on the device)
- Enter your usual code
- Scroll down and Click on Change code
- Again, put your usual code
- Now it’s time to choose a new codechoose password options if you want something other than numbers to make it an alphanumeric password
- Confirm your new code or password by entering it once more

How to enter a code for the first time

- Tap on Activate code
- Enter your new numeric or alphanumeric code

For security, there is also an option to Clear Data. If activated, When 10 failed attempts are made to enter the code, the data on the iPhone will be erased.iPad or iPod touch.
