You must scan/digitize the company seal in PNG format
To be able to put a stamp on a Word document, first it is necessary that you scan or digitize the signature in question and in PNG format. It is important that you have this template stored on your computer.
The seal of the company is very important, because not only contains information related to the companysuch as telephone, address and other information, also serves to demonstrate that the company is authentic and works legally.
Therefore, you must scan the stamp on your computer and have it digital. Also, you must not forget the location in which you have saved this information.
Insert the digitized stamp into the Word document
Once you have the digitized stamp, you will have to insert it into the Word document as if it were any image
Once you have the stamp in digital and saved on your PC, the next thing will be to insert it into the document that interests you. In general, important documents have a section that corresponds to the seal and it will be there where you must attach it.
That being said, you must open the document in which you want to put the stamp. Then click on the tab Insert on the Word ribbon. After this, you click on Images and then in “This device…“.
When you have done this, Windows Explorer will open and you will have to navigate between the folders until you find the image in PNG format of the stamp. You just click on Open.
After this, the PNG image will be inserted into the text document. But you should not be scared if the image is disproportionate in size compared to the rest of the document, since the important thing, in this step, is that you attach it to the page.
Adjust the stamp in the Word document
As we have mentioned, you should not be surprised if the stamp image is very large and overlaps textfor the last step is to adjust it correctly.
To do this, you must right-click on the upper corner of the stamp image and click on Adjust text. This will open a number of additional options and you click Behind the text.
But you are not finished yet, since you will have to modify the size and move it to the part of the document in which the stamp corresponds. Also, you must make sure that it fits correctly in the portion of space where the signature should go.
