But there is a function of those AirPods Pro 2 that may not convince you entirely: a particular sound that the charging case emits when we charge it. Whether wired or wireless, that sound can be annoying to you or the people around you (especially if you’re on a train or in a library, for example). Relax, we can deactivate it and doing it is very fast.
Turn off the charging sound of AirPods Pro 2 in two taps
All you have to do is connect your AirPods Pro 2 to the iPhone and enter Settings. There the AirPods menu will appear just under the section with your Apple ID (and that of your family if you have that option configured):
You will enter the menu with all the AirPods Pro options, and right there you will be able to disable the option “Turn on case charging sounds”. From now on the case will no longer beep when charging.
The idea of this sound is to indicate that the charge has started correctly, but you can also check it by seeing that the light on the case has turned on without problems. If it is orange, the charge is in progress, and if it is green, it means that the battery is at 100% and therefore you do not need to charge it anymore.
