In the world of folding, there is a brand that is above all and this is Samsung. The Korean giant was the one who opened this market and already has four generations behind it, with the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Huawei has started announcing the launch of its next foldable phone: the Mate X3. The company has posted a poster for the phone’s March 23 launch in China, where it will also reveal the Huawei P60.
The image does not show the Mate X3. However, the text written on it suggests that the new foldable will be thinner, lighter and more durable. The poster that we share below is just an announcement of intentions and it is not worth it to imagine what the Huawei terminal will be like.
Huawei did not release a successor to the Mate X2 from 2021 last year. Instead, it reverted to the fold-out design with the Huawei Mate Xs 2, which passed through our hands a while back and didn’t sell us too well.

Instead, the Mate X3 is expected to feature a more traditional inward-folding design, matching the Mate X2 and the current generation of devices. Galaxy Z Fold from Samsung.
As for its specifications, the Mate X3 remains a mystery. That being said, Huawei has confirmed that the phone will feature satellite connectivity.. Previous leaks had suggested that it would allow two-way SMS communication on the phone.
It is also said that Huawei will use a new graphene-based heat dissipation technology that will help the company reduce the overall thickness of the phone. But, like everything said, what we know so far are rumors, nothing is official.
