Segway has formalized a whole new range of electric scooters, represented by the Segway P65E and P100SE. The first claims a range of 65 kilometers, against 100 kilometers for the second. All at prices exceeding 1000 euros.
Segway-Ninebot is a key player in the electric scooter landscape. The Chinese manufacturer is positioned as well on the entry as the medium and the top of the range, with a catalog composed of a dozen models. The manufacturer is also strengthening its offer with a brand new range, the P.
Here are the Segway P65E and Segway P100SE, respectively sold for 1199 and 1799 euros. In reality, Frandroid was able to test the more affordable of the two in preview: you can therefore find the test of the P65E in our columns. spoiler : this scooter has clearly convinced us in more ways than one.
Good peak power
As a reminder, the P65E claims a nominal power of 500 W, for a maximum power of 980 W. With it, it is supposed to be able to climb hills of 22%. In our test, we wrote that the peak power was remarkable. In principle, the promise is kept.

Regarding the theoretical autonomy of 65 km, our tester with a size of 100 kilos had managed to drive a distance of 53 km before going through the charging box. We can therefore, in the idea, largely approach 60 km with more modest builds. For the rest, we let you discover it in more detail in our test.
The Segway P100SE goes up a notch on the main technical characteristics, but also on the price. At 1799 euros, you benefit here from a nominal power of 650 W and a maximum of 1350 W to tame ribs of 23%. Legislation obliges, the top speed is always limited to 25 km/h.
Huge theoretical autonomy
Its biggest strength is probably its theoretical range of 100 km. Given the promise almost kept on the P65E, it’s a safe bet that the range of the P100SE approaches this value in real conditions. Which, of course, bodes well for excellent range for your daily commute.
As on the P65E, the Segway P100SE is equipped with integrated indicators at the front and rear, 10.5-inch SegPower Cross Season tires – tested and validated during our test – and a layer of jelly which reduces the risk of punctures. This more upscale model also relies on a front and rear disc brake, combined with an electronic brake.

A small new function called Welcoming Light is also included, and allows you to “project ambient light with the Segway logo ” when the engine starts. Nothing revolutionary either, it belongs more to the realm of the gadget. Let’s not forget about the presence of front and rear suspensions, which will be very useful for you to improve comfort.
