Surely that has happened to you when you enter the contacts application on your Xiaomi phone and have an exorbitant number of registered numbers, and all without us noticing. In fact, on many occasions this is due to using multiple Google accounts or other services on our device but luckily this can be easily fixed.
In our case, We have spent years and years accumulating contacts in our agenda, so we have had to find a quick solution to this problem, and boy have we found it. In this post we show you how you can do it regardless of the Android phone you use in your day to day.
How to merge duplicate contacts on any Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO phone
As we tell you, this duplication of contacts is quite common in any phone on the market given the number of different accounts that we use in it, and the fact of storing contacts on the SIM card that we have inserted can even be added to it.
Therefore, it is very interesting to be able to unify all this information, and It is something that our phone can do practically automatically. In this case, we have to use the Google Contacts application, an app that is installed by default on all Xiaomi phones, although you can always download it for free from the Play Store.
Thanks to it you will be able to unify this information with just one click, and it is something that you will be able to carry out in a simple way as follows:

- Access the contacts application on your Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO phone and, at the bottom of the screen, click on “Correct and manage”
- Now, enter the “Merge and correct” section and click on “Merge duplicates”
- As you can see, a list of those contacts that you have in duplicate in your agenda will appear and, at the bottom, you simply have to click on “Merge all”
