That’s what Handshake offers, an application that helps you make a “match” in the purest Tinder style based on your tastes and hobbies.
With Handshake, you can create a game in a predefined category, whether it be movies or TV series, restaurants, recipes, places to visit, or even personalized — I have even tried it to decide that day’s dinner at home. Then, you invite whoever you want to join the game using some kind of key, and the fun begins in search of a choice that you agree on.
We say that It’s similar to Tinder for the simple reason that each player can swipe right or left, indicating whether or not they like what they see.
The best thing about this app is that it logically uses real options. For example, if you choose the restaurants category, the app will show you real restaurants near your location or the area that you have set as a reference point. You can also choose the type of food or even if you want to spend more or less money.

To take your first steps in Handshake, the process begins by downloading the application from your device’s application store, whether on Android or iOS. Once you have it installed, when you open it, will ask you to choose your preferred language from more than 20 available options, including Spanish and English.
Afterwards, you must enter the name you want to use in the application so that they identify you and you will go directly to its main page, where you will find the category, for example, “movies and TV shows.”
It is important to clarify that you must select the country in which you live, since, logically, it will use data from your location or the movies and series that are included on the platforms in that area.
Then, you can choose the platforms of streaming that are available to you, such as Netflix, HBO Max, Prime Video, Disney+ and Apple TV+, depending on that location. Besides, You can fine-tune your preferences by choosing between TV shows or movies, release dates, and genres.
Once you have configured all these options to your liking, you just have to press “Create game”. Before starting, you must share the game code with your friendswhich is located at the top of the screen and finally click on “Start game”.
