It may sound strange but among the housework, ironing is one of the ones I like the most (in summer not so much) along with washing the dishes and cleaning the dust. In general I have always used the traditional plank method by steam but after reading an article from the OCU I considered taking a turn.
And on the page of the Organization of Consumers and Users They analyzed a Mercadona product. It was a spray to make ironing easier and I said why not? I had already tried other things (a dehumidifier, the magic eraser and a disinfectant) and since it was cheap I took a chance on this one too.
The miracle product from what I had read
Specifically, the wonder product they are talking about is Mercadona’s anti-wrinkle spray. It arrives like a good part of the brand’s cleaning products with the Green Forest seal and is called Easy ironing. The presentation is in a 750 ml container and has a price of about 2 euros.
From what I had read, this product makes ironing easier. As it says on his label, It is a two in one product that eliminates wrinkles and provides finishing to the garments. In short, it makes ironing easier. In addition, when used, it generates a pleasant clean aroma. As it appears on the label, it contains softening agents that penetrate the fibers of the fabric and relax wrinkles, making smoothing easier.
The use is very simple. If dry ironed Simply apply the product by spraying it onto the garment at a distance of between 20 and 25 cm and then iron as normal. The problem here is that it sprays in all directions and at that distance you end up covering not only the garment, but also the surrounding area with product.
When ironing with and without the product I have to say that I have not noticed an excessive difference. Are wrinkles eliminated sooner? Well, depending on the area of the garment in question and how wrinkled it is, but I haven’t noticed that the difference is significant.
Another form of use it has is do it wet, in which case you have to spray the garment with the producer at the same distance (about 25 cm), stretch it and smooth it with your hands to eliminate wrinkles and let it dry. I have only tried this modality with some kitchen towels.
When I have used it with dry clothes, what I don’t like is that gets the clothes quite wet againor rather moisten it, so when ironing it it cannot be stored directly in the closet and must be left in the air again to dry and thus avoid humidity.
What is noticeable when applying it is the clean aroma it leavesreally nice although if you have already used fabric softener, it is not something that gives it any extra value that is definitive.
In short, if you ask me if it works I will say that it will do something, although I personally have not appreciated it and I don’t understand the fame that surrounds it either. It took me the same amount of time to iron the clothes so that they fit my taste, although yes, because of the difficulty of trying it, it hasn’t put a hole in my pocket.
