Oura Ring
There are few companies that have bet so much and so early on this wearable like Ourawhich is actually already in its third generation with this Oura Ring Gen3. However, it is the ring that we have seen on the fingers of celebrities such as Will Smith, Larry Page (co-founder of Google), Shaquille O’Neal or Manu Ginóbili.
This ring is made of PVD-coated titanium and is water resistant to 100 meters. It is 2.55 millimeters thick and weighs between four and six grams depending on the size chosen (6 to 13).
But the most interesting thing is inside: it integrates seven temperature sensors, as well as green and red LEDs and an infrared PPG system, three times as many sensors as in the previous generation, a most comprehensive combo to monitor health which records daytime and real-time heart rate, recovery time, heart rate during training, sleep and oxygen levels while sleeping, body temperature and period prediction.
As for its autonomy, it can last up to a week and can be charged in up to 80 minutes, and it has OTA updates from your mobile.
It is available in two designs and colors silver, black, matte black and gold from 329 euros, although there is an additional subscription service from 5.99 euros/month to have the full application and includes a ‘ever-expanding feature set, daily insights, personalized recommendations, a growing library of guided audio sessions, educational videos, and more’according to the manufacturer.

Ultrahuman Ring Air
Behind this ring is an Indian company founded in 2020 that came up with the idea of comparing to the Oura in terms of performance, but with an important difference: is subscription free. So those 379 euros are its final price.
We have already thoroughly tested the UltraHuman Ring Air and found it to be a rather thick device (with sizes from 5 to 14), but comfortable. It is available in black, gold, shiny silver and matte grey finishes and the materials used for its construction are tungsten carbide reinforced titanium and hypoallergenic epoxy resin for its interior.
Its sensor technology is also very complete. as you would expect from a device of this size, which shows how much it contains and how comprehensive its app is. Thus, it has an infrared PPG sensor, a skin temperature sensor, a six-axis motion sensor and green, red and infrared LEDs for heart rate and blood oxygen level. Of course, it also has a battery and essential components for its operation.
What does it record? Sleep zones, movement index, recovery point after activity, heart rate, among others. As for the battery, according to our experience it ranges between four and six days of autonomy.

Amazfit Helio Ring
We met him earlier this year, but the Amazfit Helio Ring is already a reality for sale in Spain. Its premise is replicate the features of your smartwatchbut in a more compact, comfortable and less invasive format. Available in two sizes, its interior is made of resin and it uses titanium alloy for the exterior.
The ring has multiple sensors to record heart rate, blood oxygen level and stressas well as tracking sleep and obtaining various statistics. It works with the Zepp app, the same one used by its watches. As for autonomy, with average use it lasts around four days and it charges in just over an hour and a half.
Somewhat more modest in performance than the previous ones, It is also the most affordablewith a RRP of 299 euros.
