Tech News Desk, Online hacking cases are increasing continuously in India. Hackers are finding many ways to clear people’s accounts. One such method is also of OTP scam. For this, hackers have created an automated software program which works on OTP verification. Through this, people are trapped using OTP verification API.

Through this program, multiple OTPs are sent continuously to the user’s phone. Now when so many messages come together, users miss out on any unofficial login notification or hacking notification. This program can send as many SMS as you want to any number. There is no limit in this.

When so many messages come at once, the user’s message box gets filled up completely and he is not able to pay attention to all those messages. The main purpose behind all these OTP SMS is that among so many messages the user does not get to know about any unauthorized message. Cyber Threat Researcher of CloudSEK has said that in this type of scam any unauthorized message Attempts are made to hide. Now when so many OTP messages are received simultaneously, the bank can block your account for some time. If this happens then hackers can take advantage of it.

Hackers take help in many ways in this work. The first is SMS bomber through which they get a list of people’s numbers. At the same time, many hackers also do this through the dark web or LinkedIn. Additionally, the exposed API is spread across several countries including India with 44 exposed APIs, Russia with 81 exposed APIs, and Indonesia with one exposed API.
