Tech News Desk,Gmail offers its users a feature called ‘Safe Listing’ which helps them avoid losing important emails by listing them. This feature allows users to add certain email addresses and domains to Gmail, which ensures that all mail from the created filters bypasses spam and goes straight to the primary inbox. If it has ever happened to you that your work mail has gone to spam and because of this you have to face problems, then turn on this setting in the app today itself.
Before knowing the steps, let us tell you some important things related to ‘Safe Listing’. Protected listing is also called whitelisting. This means that you are securing a mail ID or domain. This will prevent it from going into spam. Blacklisting allows you to block any mail forever. Do not add too many addresses etc. to the safe list as this will affect its effectiveness. Also, review your secure listing from time to time so that it remains relevant and effective.
add an address like this
First of all open Gmail and go to Settings. Then click on “See all settings” and select the Filter and blocked addresses option. Now select Create New Filter option and create a new filter. Fill all the information asked here and click on Create Filter. You will now see a pop-up, select the “Never send this to spam” label and apply the filter to existing conversations. If you don’t apply this to existing conversations, older mails won’t appear in the protected list.
