The Pokémon saga is one of the oldest in the video game industry with 28 years of history. Throughout all these years, many Pokémon games have reached the market, both for Nintendo consoles and for mobile devices with Pokémon GOa game that broke all records for users and downloads when it was launched.
If you have played all or almost all of the Pokémon titles and you have the portable console Nintendo Switch or any other device compatible with microSD cardsthe manufacturer Western Digital has just expanded its range of cards of this format through the SanDisk brand, with a new edition of cards with the most iconic Pokémon characters such as Picachu, Snorlax and Gengar.
New Pokémon microSD cards
To carry out this new line of products, Western Digital has partnered, once again, with The Pokémon Company and, obviously, with Nintendo. This line consists of 3 microSD cards with different capacities and decorated with different characters.
The model of 256 GB shows the image of Picachu. The version with 512 GB storage has the image of Gengar while the larger capacity model with a 1 TB storage shows the image of Snorlax.
In addition, each of these has a different color associated with the character. The 256 GB version of Picachu is yellow, the 512 GB model of Gengar is purple and the 1 TB model with Snorlax is light blue. These cards are focused on being used in the Nintendo Switch but since it is a standard format, we can use it in any other compatible device such as mobile phones, cameras, video cameras and others.
This new line of cards has a reading speed of 100 MB/s and 90 MB/s for writing, more than enough to enjoy your favorite games on the Nintendo Switch without having to fight over the usual space issues, especially on the Lite and normal models of this console.
