Tech News Desk – Nowadays Netflix is used by almost everyone where you get the latest movies and web series. Netflix is a great source of entertainment but do you know that now sharing it with your friends and family members can land you behind the bars and make you sweat. The use of Maxx has grown rapidly in the last few years, but the way millions of people are using it, the company is suffering a lot. Actually Netflix users share their ID-password and this is bound to harm the company. If you do this too, then you may have to go to jail for doing so.
If you now share the password of your Netflix account with someone, then doing so can put you behind bars, we are not saying that actually doing so has now come under the category of fraud. Doing so will be considered an offense and for this you may have to pay a jail term or a heavy fine. Actually, for the last few years, the trend of sharing passwords is very high among people, people subscribe to one account and four to five people watch movies from that account. In this case, you should stop it now.
Recently, the Government’s Intellectual Property Office has prepared a new guideline regarding piracy, in which if you share the password of any OTT platform with anyone, then strict action will be taken against you and it is applicable only to Netflix. Does not happen. Rather this law will apply to all OTT platforms present in the market. Although this rule is not implemented in India yet, but it has been implemented in UK.
