IKEA has been wanting to fully enter the field of artificial intelligence for some time and offer users a new way of occupying any room in their homes through furniture from the Swedish firm. In 2022 the firm made us aware of its IKEA Kreativ application, although it has not been until now when its availability has been extended, being able to design our room from now on.
The functionality is integrated into the official IKEA application, which is available for both Android and iOS devices, although it also allows us to design our room through its website. Of course, to scan our room we will have to use the app on a mandatory basis. Under these lines we tell you all the details.

The idea with IKEA Kreativ is that we can scan any room through the app just by pointing with the camera of our mobile. In this way, the tool will create a virtual replica of our room, being able to decorate it in our style using the furniture that the company offers in its stores.

Kreativ allows us both to use spaces predetermined by the company, or to scan our own. If we venture with the first option, we can do it from the same web page, although the experience will not be as personalized, since they will not be spaces in our own home. In this case we have up to 50 modifiable spaces. Afterwards, it is enough to drag furniture around the room to place them to our liking.
However, the most interesting thing about Kreativ is the possibility of generating a digital replica of our room through its mobile application. There are up to 3,000 elements that we can place in the room, including furniture, decoration and accessories. In this way, everything we like can be saved to add it to the basket later.

Nor do you need to order your room too much to take the photo, since artificial intelligence allows us to easily eliminate what we do not want to appear and thus we will only have the basis to start designing later. The process requires that we have an IKEA account and a few minutes of preparation to take several photos of our room. When we finish, the app will take a few seconds to recreate our room.
The company has been gradually improving its design process through mobile devices. Since Kreativ was announced, the app has taken a huge leap thanks to artificial intelligence. In this way, those who are undecided about what can look good at home have one more tool to find out quite comfortably.
