The displays are still HDR compatible, with five-color aluminum bezels.
Their autonomy is given to last longer.
The iPhone 14s benefit from the Apple A15 Bionic with 6 CPU cores, 5 GPU cores and a revised neural network.
The photo part, always with two lenses, is improved thanks to computational photography, always. A new 12 Mpixel sensor, with 1.9 micron pixels, and an aperture of f/1.5. It should perform 49% better in low-light photography, with faster autofocus.
The TrueDepth front camera is 38% better in low light and focuses faster.
Deep Fusion is still there, and uses the neural network, as in previous generations. But Deep Fusion is now applied to photos earlier in the photography process, with compression. The Photonic Engine allows cameras to be faster, 2.5x faster on the main lens.
Video is also in the spotlight, with more efficient stabilization. Action mode allows you to use the entire sensor for less jerky action.
The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are still 5G, obviously. They work even better with the eSim. It will no longer be necessary to use a physical SIM, and we will be able to use several eSIMs. American iPhones no longer have a drawer for SIMs!
The iPhone 14 is compatible with the Crash detection function, in the event of an accident, up to 256 G, like the Watch!
