These include the company’s A16 Bionic chipset, dynamic island and 48 megapixel primary camera. All of these features were available on last year’s Pro model. This year, all of Apple’s iPhone models are equipped with USB Type-C ports, making them the first handsets to come without Apple’s proprietary Lightning charging port.

The price of 128GB variant of iPhone 15 in India is Rs 79,900. Its 256GB and 512GB storage variants will be available for Rs 89,900 and Rs 1,09,900 respectively.

Pre-booking in India for both iPhones will begin on September 15 at 5:30 pm and they will be available for purchase from September 22.
At the same time, the price of iPhone 15 in the US starts at $799 (approximately Rs 66,300) while the price of iPhone 15 Plus is $899 (approximately Rs 82,900). According to the company, both the phones will be available in five color options, which include Blue, Pink, Yellow, Green and Black.

The iPhone 15 is a dual SIM (Nano) smartphone with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with Ceramic Shield material for added protection. This year, Apple has also equipped the iPhone 15 with Dynamic Island, which was introduced in the iPhone 14 Pro models last year. The display supports up to 2000 nits of peak brightness and the handset has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. At the same time, iPhone 15 Plus has a large 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display.
Unlike last year’s models, the primary camera on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models is a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 2um quad pixel sensor and f/1.6 aperture. The smartphone is also equipped with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with F/1.6 aperture and sensor shift stabilization. There is a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera on the front of the handset, which is fitted in the new camera island.
Apple’s new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are equipped with the company’s A16 Bionic chip that also powered last year’s iPhone 14 Pro models.
