Tech News Desk,Apple has launched the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus globally from the ‘Steve Jobs Theatre’ at the Apple headquarters in California. Both smartphones have been launched with 48MP primary cameras for the first time in Apple’s history. This means that this is the first time that the company is offering a 48MP camera in the base model of a series. Both phones have USB Type C-charging port and large battery.

Talking about the price, Apple has launched the 128GB variant of iPhone 15 for $799 and the 128GB variant of iPhone 15 Plus for $899. In Indian Rupees, they have been launched at Rs 66,195 and Rs 74,480. Note, the Indian price has not been shared by the company yet. Pre-orders for iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will start from September 15 while their sales will start from September 22. In India, you will be able to buy them from Apple’s official website, Amazon and Apple Store.

Talking about the specs, iPhone 15 has a 6.1 inch display whereas the company has given a 6.7 inch display in iPhone 15 Plus. In both the mobile phones, you get the support of A16 Bionic chipset which the company gave in the iPhone 14 Pro model last year. For photography, both the phones have a dual camera setup in which the main camera is 48MP while the other is a 12MP portrait camera which performs better in low light. On the front you will get a 12MP camera for selfie and video calling. Both models have the second generation ultra-wideband chip, so you can easily find your Apple devices. Currently, the company has not given any update regarding the battery. Apple has said that both models will have ‘all day’ battery life. Earlier leaks said that the company can provide 3,877 mAh and 4,912 mAh batteries in iPhone 15 and 15 Plus.
