An important design change that focuses on the screen
Last year we saw a major change in the design of the iPhone 14, but only in the Pro and Pro Max version. Regarding the screen, there are no important changes when opting for a Super Retina XDR with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, with screen sizes of 6.1″ for the iPhone 15 and 6.7″ for the iPhone 15 Plus. Both have a maximum brightness in HDR of 1,600 nits that can go up to 2,000 nits.
A reused chip for these iPhone 15 that does not promise improvements in autonomy
In terms of performance we are not going to have any changes with these new iPhones. From Apple they have chosen keep the A16 Bionic chip in both devices which included the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus. This is very bad news, although it will allow them to move much further away from the ‘Pro’ range, giving it more advantages.
