A series of promotional images for the iPhone 16 have reportedly leaked, revealing details ahead of time about the launch of Apple’s flagship phones in 2024. These include the recently-discussed colorways, as well as key specs like the A18 chip. The leak shows all models, from the iPhone 16 to the iPhone 16 Plus, the iPhone 16 Pro, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

As the September keynote approaches, which has been dated for September 10, rumors have given way to leaks in recent days. After several stolen photos of the iPhone 16, a leaker claims to have gotten his hands on marketing images of the 2024 series. Tim Cook must be furious.
The four images published on Saturday by Lakhwinder Singh appear to be marketing materials aimed at China, based on the visible text.
First, we find two images showing the colors of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16, available with a new wallpaper reminiscent of macOS X. Nothing crazy, we had already had the opportunity to see the Apple phones several times.
What’s more interesting is that an image shows a brief list of the iPhone 16’s specifications, confirming a vertical camera alignment, reminiscent of the iPhone 12. The phone is described as having a 6.1-inch display with an aluminum and glass body, and an Action button on the side.
A 48-megapixel camera capable of filming for the Apple Vision Pro is also said to be included, along with an A18 chip and a USB-C port.
Another image showing the back of the iPhone 16 Pro highlights the rumored 48-megapixel Ultra Wide camera resolution upgrade. Also mentioned is the Tetraprism lens system (previously reserved for the iPhone 15 Pro Max), as well as the computational photography capabilities of the A18 Pro chip.
While these leaks look like typical Apple online marketing materials, there is no guarantee that they are authentic. Some smart guys are having fun with Photoshop by taking on the “Apple spirit”. In addition, the leaker in question has no real history with Apple products.
Never mind, we will have confirmation within three weeks at the most. In the meantime, remember that the iPhone 16 remains globally the same, regardless of the model. The new features will be anecdotal for customers who already have a recent iPhone.
