Bleeping Computer reported the incident, saying, ‘Security researchers found 75 apps on Google Play and ten other apps on Apple’s App Store to be ad fraud. Collectively, they add up to 13 million installations. In addition to flooding mobile users with ads, both visible and hidden, fraudulent apps also generate revenue by impersonating legitimate apps and impressions.
