Mobile News Desk, Chinese smartphone maker iQoo has launched Z8 and Z8x. These will replace the iQoo Z7 and Z7x. The iQoo Z8 is powered by the Octacore MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC and the Z8x is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. Both these smartphones have dual rear cameras. They have been launched in China.
iQoo Z8 and Z8x have been introduced in Moon Porcelain White, Hoshino Ao (Blue) and Yaoye Black (translated from Chinese) colours. iQoo Z8 is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 19,300) for the 8GB + 256GB variant, CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 20,500) and CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 22,800) for the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants, respectively. iQoo Z8x is priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 14,800) for the 8GB + 128GB variant, CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 16,000) and CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 17,100) for the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants, respectively.
Specifications of iQoo Z8 and Z8x
The company’s Z8 and Z8x flaunt 6.64-inch IPS full HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate. These smartphones run on Android 13 based OriginOS 3.0 out of the box. The dual rear camera unit of the iQoo Z8 houses a 64-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. Apart from this, a secondary sensor of 2 megapixels has been given. On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls, while the Z8x has an 8-megapixel sensor. The iQoo Z8 packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W wired Ultra-Flash charging. iQoo Z8x packs a 6,000mAh battery with 44W wired flash charging support. For security, these smartphones have a fingerprint scanner on the side. For connectivity, it has 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. iQoo’s Z7 5G was introduced in two storage variants and two colors.
