Not only the big operators are changing their rates, both in terms of price and conditions, but also low cost brands are applying new changes. And it is that, in the case of O2, a few months have passed since the last price increase that reached the operator. Or rather, since the option of fiber and mobile for 30 euros.
Once again, we are a few days away from the cheap Telefónica operator changing its cheapest fiber and mobile option again. Furthermore, not only will change the price, the conditions that it will offer to its clients will also be improved. Therefore, we are going to know its new price and, above all, what it is going to offer us.
Goodbye to combined fiber for 35 euros from O2
In a few days, specifically, from March 6, we will have to say goodbye to the fiber and O2 mobile for 35 euros. Currently, if we are going to hire this convergent alternative from the cheap Movistar operator, we find ourselves with 300 Mbps of fiber optics and a fixed line with unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles, as well as a 5G mobile line with 35 GB and unlimited calls. All this without permanence.
However, as we told you, as of March 6, we will have to say goodbye. Basically, because it will stop being available. However, if you are going to contract it before that day, the conditions and the price will continue to be maintained, that is, that you will continue to pay 35 euros and enjoying the features we mentioned above. But, you have to be fast.
From Monday, the “new” cheapest O2 fare will be the one that comes with fiber 500 Mbps and 50 GB for the 5G mobile line. An option that we already found in the operator that, to date, was ranked as the second cheapest option within the combinations of the low cost operator of Telefónica. Therefore, the change is three euros, although we find ourselves with 200 more Mbps of fiber optics and 15 more mobile gigabytes for the mobile line. The conditions of permanence and the fixed line are maintained.
The previous O2 price hike
Already in November of last year, the operator decided to shelve its fiber and mobile option for 30 euros. It is true that we were before a 100 Mbps fiber and a mobile line without 5G with 10 mobile gigabytes. However, it was a fairly cheap convergent rate for those users who did not need more at home. And, above all, we were facing a cheap option that we could change at any time, since it did not have permanence, like the rest of the offers of this operator.
However, they decided to put the fee of 35 euros as the “cheapest” combined option. Although, also in that case the conditions were improved. It went from 100 Mbps to 500 Mbps and from two mobile lines with 10 GB each, to a mobile line with 35 GB. And that was not the only change, since it also The arrival of 5G coverage to the operator was made official.
