The Twitch community is growing by leaps and bounds and today we can find content creators who do everything on this platform. In addition, many streamers have also found a way to get record numbers. Although in Spain we have the habit of seeing names such as Ibai, AuronPlay, or Illojuan himself at the top, in the United States the level is completely different.
This has been demonstrated by Kai Cenat, a content creator who has managed to reach more than 300,000 subscriptions on Twitch, thus becoming the streamer with the most subscribers in the history of the platform. And all in just 28 days of subathon.
Figures that a few years ago would be unimaginable
It is not the first time that we dedicate an article to Kai Cenat. In fact, a few weeks ago we talked about his controversy with cannabis sweets, having been expelled by Twitch itself just before wanting to start his subathon. However, after that bump, the streamer decided to be live all month of februaryincreasing the time of its retransmission to each subscription that reached its channel.
The pace was such that, in just 28 days, he managed to break the record currently held by Ludwig with 283,066 subscribers, who shortly after was signed by YouTube. Not only that, but managed to reach the round figure of more than 300,000 subscriptionssomething historic on the platform.
Let’s remember that in terms of Spanish-speaking content creators, the record was held by Ibai with 121,467 subscribers, something already truly impressive. However, unlike Ibai, who had to organize an entire event to achieve this figure (The Evening of the Year), Kai Cenat did it while being in his house in front of his computer. One more example that in the United States the world of Twitch reaches almost unfathomable heights.
Kai Cenat, which began broadcasting in 2018, currently has some 306,606 subscriptions to its credit. At just 21 years old, the young New Yorker has become a superstar thanks to the Internet. The question now is who will dare to break his current record.
