Youth arrested for creating fake holiday website
The latest case has come to light from Mumbai, where a 23-year-old man has been arrested for creating a fake holiday website. Akash Wadhwani, a resident of Ghatkopar, has been arrested by the Mumbai Police. It is being told that he was cheating people through a fake holiday website.
90 thousand rupees were cheated from a woman
Mumbai Police has arrested Akash from a big hotel in Juhu. Usually he used to cheat people by staying in big hotels. So far he has cheated people about 20 times in the name of holiday packages. Akash had cheated 90 thousand rupees from one of these women, after whose complaint he was arrested.
The woman alleged that she had booked a villa from a site called ‘vistarastays.com’ which she found cheaper as per the offer. So he booked a villa in the coastal town of Alibaug by paying Rs 90,000 through the website. However, later she was unable to contact the website, which made it clear to her that the site was fake due to which she complained to the police. After this Mumbai Police arrested Akash from a big hotel in Juhu and a case has been registered against him under section 420.

Only visit secure websites with a padlock symbol and an “https://” URL.
Try to contact only trusted websites or companies for booking rooms or villas.
Do not click on any link sent in any message or mail regarding the offer.
