Last August, O2 launched three new very competitive rates to stand up to its rivals. On the one hand, a fiber-only plan with 1 Gbps speed, and on the other, two combined with fiber for 35 and 43 euros per month, respectively. And best of all: it opened its recruitment to the entire country.
Precisely the 35 euros per month was positioned as the operator’s most affordable fiber and mobile proposal, but, after less than a month in the catalogTomorrow O2 will stop selling it.
Goodbye to the rate of 35 euros per month
Coinciding with the back-to-school campaign of the rest of the operators, O2 launched a new rate in August that allows you to have fiber and mobile for 35 euros per month. Specifically, in exchange for the aforementioned fee, this plan offers:
- 300 Mbps symmetrical fiber optic.
- 5G mobile line with 35 GB, unlimited calls and unlimited SMS.
- Landline with unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles.
Like the rest of O2’s tariffs, this plan includes free installation and HGU router. It also allows you to contract additional mobile lines and share data between them: with 10 GB for 5 euros more per month or with 40 GB for 10 euros more.
As we see in the image, this rate is the cheapest combo fiber and mobile that O2 currently offers. But for a short time. Last week, Movilonia announced that the operator was going to eliminate it from its catalog and now Telefónica has confirmed to us that it will disappear tomorrow.
Therefore, today is the last day to contract it, either through the O2 website, or through the My O2 app (if you are already a customer). Remember that O2 rates they have no permanenceso you can unsubscribe whenever you want without penalty.
And another important thing: the price is forever (no additional charges except special rate and international calls outside European roaming). This means that, even if this 35 euro fee disappears tomorrow, you will be able to continue maintaining the conditions and price.
Starting tomorrow, the cheapest O2 combo will be 38 euros per month, which includes 500 Mbps fiber and 50 GB on the mobile. By 3 euros more per monthmore fiber speed and much more data on your mobile, it may compensate you.
