LG Rollable Although it does not make a name for itself, we can say that it has some interesting features in the foldable sector. The device appeared in some photos and even a short video, but mostly disappeared. Now a South Korean YouTube channel has offered a detailed video showing an intriguing alternative to foldables.
LG Rollable will mark the foldable industry!
The device, which opens with the sideways expansion of the rollable screen of the phone bearing its name, is the new favorite of the foldable sector product. It comes with a charger and USB cable inside. The phone itself looks pretty normal in the closed state, not as thick as foldables. Heavier than most hardcore phones. The main novelty of the phone is its screen, which by default comes with a 6.8” P-OLED display with curved edges. However, a swipe causes it to expand horizontally, bringing the diagonal to 7.4 inches and making the aspect ratio 3:2.
In this mode, some applications automatically switch to tablet interfaces. This works in YoTube, the settings screen, and more. Even home screen wallpapers can expand and contract seamlessly to fit the screen. The screen rolls towards the back, avoiding the tight curve required with foldables. Still, the phone, which is quite soft and visibly stretches when touched, is quite interesting.
An interesting detail is that it comes with a keyless design similar to the canceled LG Velvet 2 Pro. The phone is a pretty typical flagship of 2021 with Snapdragon 888, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The rear camera setup includes 64MP wide and 12MP ultra-wide modules.
