Logitech will expand its catalog of MX wireless keyboards with the addition of two mechanical models, whose release would be just around the corner. As reported WinFuturethe products in question will arrive under the names MX Mechanical Y MX Mechanical Mini.
As you can imagine, the first would consist of a full-size model; while the second would be a much smaller variant in size, something mainly favored by the absence of a dedicated number pad.
According to the aforementioned medium, both keyboards will include adaptive backlight and will clearly stand out from the competition with their slim profile, flat design and slightly curved surface on the keys. In addition, they would be available with three possible mechanical button configurations.
Various details regarding the switches of the new Logitech mechanical keyboards are still unknown. It is mentioned that the MX Mechanical and MX Mechanical Mini would be released with keys clicky, touch Y linear, for buyers to choose what kind of response and sound they want to get when typing. However, it is not yet known if they can be purchased individually or if the users themselves will be able to change the buttons according to taste or need.
But beyond being mechanical, the new members of the MX keyboard line would come with other features already known in Logitech products. The models they would inherit a good part of the functions that have already been seen in the MX Keys and MX Keys Mini, which have had a very good repercussion among the public; among them, the support to control multiple devices simultaneously and the regulation of the brightness of the backlight of the keys. As for connectivity with the computer, it would be available both via Bluetooth and with the traditional dongle USB.

Logitech’s MX line will add its first wireless mechanical keyboards
WinFuture He doesn’t give any details as to when the MX Mechanical and MX Mechanical Mini would be formally launched, although he mentions that it will be “soon”. The aforementioned wireless mechanical keyboards could debut alongside the MX Master 3S, a new mouse for advanced users that has also been seen unofficially in recent hours. Said mouse would include a precision 8,000 DPI sensor, against the 4,000 DPI of its predecessor; furthermore, it would be “up to 90% quieter” than the previous version when clicked.
But back to the keyboards. Logitech MX peripherals are widely used in productivity environments, so the commitment to incorporate mechanical models into its catalog is not illogical. However, those who wish to access them will have to be willing to open the wallet without asking any further questions. Why? Because they won’t be exactly cheap.
According to the available information, the MX Mechanical would have a price that would be around 230 euros. While the MX Mechanical Mini, its more compact version without a numeric keypad, would sell for a sum close to 180 euros.
