Mini PCs have never been associated with the world of video games, as long as we don’t consider Solitaire or Minesweeper as games but rather as banal entertainment. Despite not being associated with the gaming world, that doesn’t mean that we can’t find equipment designed for this use on the market, the latest example being the AtomMan G7 Ti from Minisforum.
Minisforum focuses practically all its activity on the design and manufacture of small equipment, so it knows perfectly well what it is doing when it presents a high-performance model focused on the video edition or gaming.
This manufacturer recently updated the AtomMan range by adding the X7 TI models with the processor Intel Core Ultra 9 185H from Intel with Arc iGPU and the G7 Pt, managed by the processor Ryzen 9 7945H with the Radeon RX 7600M XT.
Now we have to add the G7 Ti model, a model that combines a Intel processor and a graphics card from NVIDIA, and for the moment, its price and availability on the market have not been announced.
AtonMan G7 Ti Mini Gaming PC
The Minisforum AtonMan series is available in two versions. On the one hand, we find the processor Intel Core i9-14900HX with 24 cores. The other, cheaper version is the Intel Core i7-14650HX with 16 cores, model that receives the surname SE.
In both cases, the graphics card that equips the device is a RTX 4070 with 8 GB of RAM, the same type of graphics card that we can find in laptops, since the desktop version of this graphics card can take up more space than the entire computer.
It has two SODIMM slots to add up to 96 GB of RAM at a speed of 5,600 MT/s. Inside, there is space for two drives M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD for storage and features an SD card slot.
Wireless connectivity is provided by a M2.2230 card compatible with Wi-Fi 7 and also includes support for Bluetooth 5.4. As for video outputs, both the G7 Ti managed by the Intel Core i9-14900HX and the computer managed by the Intel Core i7-14650HX include a port HDMI 2.1 and a port USB4 Type C.
It has 1 USB 3.2 Gen2 Type A port, and two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type A ports. It also has a headphone jack, includes Windows 11 pre-installed and the 19V power supply offers a maximum power of 280W.
The unit includes the Control Center application to manage lighting, fan speed, component operating temperature, and much more.
It also includes a dedicated button for change performance of the team between two options: Office Mode or Gamer Mode to adjust the features to the actual use that we are going to give it.
Price and availability
Minisforum has officially presented this new PC through its website, however, it does not indicate the minimum specifications in which it will be available, nor its launch price and availability on the market.
If you have been thinking about buying a mini gaming PC for some time now and the solution offered by Minisforum is within your options, it wouldn’t hurt to wait a few weeks to see what its launch price will be.
