We talk about the rumored news about Apple’s virtual and augmented reality glasses.
The presentation and commercial launch of Apple’s augmented reality and virtual reality glasses. The work on this project has been many years in the making and it seems imminent that the project will become a product very soon.
We were recently able to discover that the engineers of the company with the bitten apple logo had already finished the tests with the glasses and they would be ready for the start of mass production.
We’ve been seeing all kinds of rumors circulating about Apple Glasses for many years, and today we know many of the possible aspects, features and even hardware of this long-awaited product. Now we know something else: they could count on the implementation of a processor M1 and with a touch panel micro OLED.
New rumors suggest that Apple’s augmented reality and virtual reality glasses will feature an M1 chip and micro OLED screen
As we mentioned previously, by now we know a lot of data about the AR and VR glasses from Apple. In fact, a lot of information has been leaking since the beginning of its development, in 2014, practically at the same time as when the Cupertino firm began planning Project Titan, its autonomous electric car. It’s 7 years of rumours!
Since then, we have learned that augmented reality and virtual reality glasses could have their own software with an operating system called “rOS” or “realityOS”which would have a design similar to this one and could reach the market in two different models, one with augmented reality and the other with virtual reality.
Well then. This at least confirms it 1) has its own OS & binaries, and 2) has a realityOS Simulator https://t.co/6a25kWshXR pic.twitter.com/RyF5O5gFjg

On the other hand, we also know that the first prototypes of Apple’s virtual and augmented reality glasses have two screens of 8K ultra-high resolution and a total of 15 cameras that would allow the processor to recognize the environment. In addition, they would include a LiDAR sensor to carry out a more precise mapping of the area. There has even been talk that the glasses of the firm of the bitten apple could have a sensor of iris recognitionwhich would completely revolutionize the technology industry.
Apple glasses would have a micro OLED panel and an M1 processor
sources of the supply chain of Apple indicate, through Apple Insiderwhich is currently undergoing a second phase of testing on its virtual and augmented reality headsets.
The new supply chain report provides some of the hardware details for this product, including the inclusion of an M1 chip and a micro OLED panel.
The appearance on the scene of an M1 processor is not really new, in fact it is something that has been talked about for a few months. But the information is good and corroborates that this fact is more feasible.
As for the micro OLED screens, they will contribute not only to making virtual reality and augmented reality glasses more effective, but also to making the product of higher quality and offering users many more years of consumption.
Everything seems to indicate that Apple will launch its VR and AR glasses at the end of this year 2022, but its development could suffer some delay, so nothing is confirmed yet. On the other hand, it is interesting to note that both Samsung and Google or Meta are also working on their own virtual reality headsets.
