While SNK dropped the price of a few games from the “ACA NeoGeo” collection this week, we weren’t sure we’d see a new title land. This is finally the case with the excellent Metal Slug 4 which follows Soccer Brawl on iOS and Android.
Metal Slug 4 is an action shooter from 2002 and the 5th game in the saga and comes out oddly after Metal Slug 5 which happened to us last year.
Metal Slug 4 is back
Metal Slug 4 features Nadia and Trevor, two new characters joining the game with additional items and more. As with previous versions of the ACA NeoGeo series from Hamster and SNK, these new versions have many modern features such as online ranking modes. Additionally, the app offers quick save/load and virtual pad customization features to make in-app gameplay easier. Watch the video trailer:
