Microsoft just announced a new tool called Bing Image Creator, which is designed to help users create images from natural language descriptions, powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Microsoft Edge.
This new tool, which represents an evolution of the DALL-E model, allows users to create images from a detailed description of what they want. All they have to do is provide additional description and context, such as location or activity, and choose an art style. From there, Bing Image Creator will generate an image that reflects the description provided.
Furthermore, this tool seamlessly integrates with Microsoft’s Edge browser, allowing users to access the image builder directly from the Bing browser sidebar or even from Bing chat in Edge.
This new tool is a great way to create powerful and engaging visual stories, as users can create images that reflect their ideas and imagination. Additionally, Bing Image Creator can be used for a variety of purposes, such as creating content for social media, blogs, and websites.
How does Bing Image Creator work?
To start using Bing Image Creator, simply go to the Bing search page and type a detailed description of the image you want to create. It then provides additional context, such as the location or activity the image is in.
Once you’ve provided all the necessary information, choose an art style that reflects the type of image you want to create. Then click the “Create Image” button and Bing Image Creator will generate an image based on its description and context.
The Bing Image Creator preview will also be available in Microsoft Edge, making it the first browser with an integrated AI-powered image generator. To use Bing Image Creator in Edge, simply click the Bing Image Creator icon in the sidebar to create your image or invoke it from Bing chat in Edge.
This tool will start rolling out to Bing preview users on both desktop and mobile starting today, but it will only be available in English. In Microsoft Edge it will also be available from today, in the same way in English.
