So instead of landing on the “My Files” tab when you open OneDrive, you’ll be greeted with a new home page that looks like the Dashboard in the online version of Office.
So, just like in the Office app, OneDrive Home contains a list of files, organized by date they were accessed, and filters above the list let you sort documents by file type.
Similarly, there is a new column called “Activity” to the right of the “Owner” file field that informs when someone leaves a comment or mention to another user.
However, these changes are not yet live; In this regard, Microsoft pointed out that OneDrive Home will be available in the coming months. However, from the looks of it, the new home page could serve as a central hub that should help the user stay organized while collaborating remotely.

As if that weren’t enough, Microsoft is also rolling out its photo story feature to the OneDrive mobile app, this is the equivalent of Instagram stories, for users in Australia.
Sadly, the feature won’t reach users in the United States or other regions until the end of the year.
The OneDrive story began in August 2007 when Microsoft first launched its cloud storage system to allow people to share and sync their files in the cloud.During the first five years of its history, the tool experienced rapid growth, especially as companies moved more and more productivity solutions.
