Microsoft Corp announced Microsoft 365 Copilot. This tool is already in testing with select enterprise clients and combines the power of Large Language Models (LLM) with business data and Microsoft 365 apps. The goal is to unleash creativity, unlock productivity and take skills to a higher level.

Microsoft 365 Copilot is a brand new work tool that not only improves the way you work but also changes the way you work. It integrates with Microsoft 365 applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, among others.

In addition, the company announced a completely new experience: Business Chat. Business Chat works in LLM, using a client’s Microsoft 365 apps, calendar, emails, chats, documents, meetings, and contacts to get things done that couldn’t be done before.

Microsoft 365 Copilot focuses on content creation and problem solving, eliminating the drudgery and drudgery that often prevents people from being more creative and productive at work.

This tool uses AI to deliver real-time suggestions and solutions as the user types in any of the Microsoft 365 apps. The AI in Microsoft 365 Copilot learns from the user’s past work, as well as the work of their colleagues, and offers personalized suggestions and solutions to improve work efficiency.

These are the details of each of the programs:

  • Copilot in Word helps you write, edit, summarize, and create text.
  • Copilot in PowerPoint will ease the authoring process by turning ideas into a designed presentation through natural language commands.
  • Copilot in Excel will help you unlock information, identify trends, or create professional-looking data visualizations, in a fraction of the time.
  • Copilot in Outlook can help synthesize and manage your inbox to allow more time to spend on real communication.
  • Copilot in Teams makes meetings more productive, with real-time summaries and action points right in the context of the conversation.
  • Copilot on Power Platform will help developers of all skill levels accelerate development with low-code tools, with the introduction of two new capabilities within Power Apps and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Business Chat gathers data from documents, presentations, email, calendar, notes, and contacts to help summarize chats, write emails, find key dates, or even write a plan based on other project files.
