It seems that the assumption minecraft editor mode has been leaked in a video posted on Twitter by the user @RogerBadgerman, a self-proclaimed industry insider. The video shows what does indeed appear to be a world builder/editor being used to do some pretty dramatic terraforming.
Minecraft Editor Mode would be about to be released
Judging by some of the comments on the Twitter thread, this potentially isn’t the first time Minecraft editor images have leaked. It seems that Mojang has been working on this for a while and its release has not yet been secured.
Don’t worry creators! I have things for you as well…

To be clear, Mojang Studios has never officially confirmed that a world editor is coming to Minecraft at all.. But as some in the Minecraft community have pointed out, there are snippets present in the game’s code. These snippets almost ensure that a world editor is being developed.
At the moment, neither Microsoft nor Mojang Studios have responded to this possible leak. It will be interesting to see if the editor mode of this popular game, if real, finally makes its way to spin-off games like Minecraft Dungeons and the upcoming Minecraft Legends which will hit all the major platforms on the market.
Perhaps, these are Mojang’s own development tools to build the different adventures quickly. This could allow them to sketch maps or ideas in a matter of minutes rather than requiring programming an entire world.
