The arrival of Mortal Kombat The Switch was very well received, since the game promised to offer the usual fun and crazy deathmatches with a new installment that aims to surprise with the arrival of very original characters. But with the game on sale, users have found a version that has nothing to do with what they expected. And even worse, it has nothing to do with the rest of the platforms.
A deadly disaster
The images and videos shared by users around the world are revealing a version that leaves much to be desired. And, although the game has partially maintained the character animations, it is the facial expressions and textures that reveal a version that could pass for a mobile game.
You just have to take a look at some posts on Twitter (X) to see that the textures offered by the Switch version have nothing to do with what is seen on PS5. But the problem is not that, which could be understood by the technical capacity of the Nintendo console. The problem is that the visual aspect It’s so creepy that it immediately provokes laughter.
Both of these are $70?!?!?$?
Awwww hell no.
If I was playing Mortal Kombat 1 on Switch I’d ask for a refund in a heartbeat. pic.twitter.com/4nfIzjeXEm

The facial expressions are a complete joke, and even the game makes tremendous mistakes in gameplay. In this video, you can see how the character moves freely around the stage with the axis of movement completely misplaced.

And for the same price
The most repeated criticism and what is largely setting users off is that the Switch version has the same price as the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. with a label official 69.99 eurosthe Switch version is comparable in price to that of the new generation consoles, something that could make sense if it were the same game, but evidently, as has been proven, is not the case.
Crying at the Switch version of Mortal Kombat 1, Why didn’t they just wait for the next gen switch console, the fact it costs 70$ is robbery💀💀💀 pic.twitter.com/RHUFQJTHC5

And it is easy to understand that the Switch version can never offer the performance of PS5, but charging the same price, these types of errors and visual defects hurt even more.
Many streamers are recommending not buying the game, since the experience is so bad, that they encourage saving that money and investing it in another release or something else.
