The new Motorola Razr 2022 was announced last month. In this context, it was also a matter of curiosity whether the new foldable lid model would be offered for sale outside of China. Now, thanks to leaked renders by reliable source @evleaks, we have some evidence that a global release outside of China could be imminent.
The promotional materials that came with the Motorola Razr’s launch last month only showed the contents of the screens in Chinese. The images that have been leaked now offer plenty of English text. In this context, we can say that the device can come to global markets. While some organizations have speculated that a US release may be possible, the images released don’t quite show it that way.
Motorola Razr 2022 sounds like a bomb!

Interestingly, in all screenshots the time and date are set to 11:35 on Tuesday, April 3rd. Tuesday, April 3, 1973 was the day a Motorola engineer made the first phone call using the DynaTAC, the prototype of the first mobile phone. Here, we can say that the company is giving a small message about itself. Last month Motorola announced the 2022 Razr, making some valuable upgrades over its predecessor.
There’s a main 50MP camera sensor with OIS and 13MP ultra-wide, but the real upgrade here is the addition of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The Razr 2022 is available in China with prices starting at CNY 5,999 (~$856). No other market pricing or availability has yet been confirmed by Motorola.
