There is collusion between OTT platform and mobile company
According to SP Kochhar, Director General, Cellular Operators Association of India, most of the mobile service providers have announced separate tariff vouchers for using 5G networks. While OTT platforms charge monthly rent from users, OTT platforms and mobile service provider companies divide the revenue among themselves and the government does not get any benefit from it. SP Kochhar said in clear words that the Cellular Operators Association of India It spends lakhs of rupees on maintaining the 5G network. In such a situation, companies providing OTT platforms and mobile services should give a part of their profits to the government.
OTT market to reach US$12.5 billion by 2030
