Chrome’s tab groups have been around for a few years now, receiving subsequent improvements like being able to name the group. It now borrows the idea from Chrome’s notes apps. assign a color to the group.
Your eyelashes, better organized than ever
If you’re a neat freak, you’ll be pleased to know that Google is now activating Tab group colors in the Chrome browser, with plenty of potential to help you organize all the tabs you have open to check out later.
These tab groups are created by dragging (with a long touch) an open tab over another and until now you could assign a custom name. Now they also receive a color of its own, visible with a circle next to his name.
Chrome gives you the tool and how you want to use it is up to you. For example, you can use colors to group work tabs under a colorpersonal and important ones on another. It’s basically the same idea as colors in note apps like Google Keep.
Google Chrome automatically assigns a color to each group, although you can change it by opening the group and tapping the colored circle next to its name. There are nine colors to choose from.
