For many of us, Nothing is a technology brand that gives a breath of fresh air to a sector that has been stagnant in design and functionality for many years. His first headphones surprised the world and his first smartphone more of the same.
The Nothing Ear 1 seemed like a great presentation to us, as we explained in their analysis in 2021. So we expected a lot from a company founded by Carl Pei, but that first experience was enough for us to know where the shots were going.
Then we got the Nothing Phone (1), the first smartphone from the Pei people and what we’ve all been waiting for. This smartphone was the confirmation that Nothing had new ideas. Now, with a loudspeaker with an impossible design, they prove it again.
Thanks to 91Mobiles and well-known leaker Kuba Wojciechowski, images of a strange looking speaker have leaked. The device is unlike any speaker we’ve seen beforeHence, it does not crown the cover of this news.
A speaker like we’ve never seen before
He render shows a full view of what the speaker cutouts look like: two black rounds on top that are possibly tweeters and two mismatched white ones on the bottom that could be subwoofers.
There are buttons on either side of the supposed Nothing speaker, likely to control volume, Bluetooth connectivity, etc. One of the buttons on the left is red, possibly the power button. Meanwhile, there’s a strange orb on the front with half of Nothing’s logo on it.
The design of the Nothing speaker doesn’t seem as seamless as other Nothing products we’ve seen so far. Although we could be wrong. There is a kind of cover on the top of the device, which could be a transparent case or packaging.
The leaked render is not of the best quality and seems to be missing some visual information. Also, we only have a picture of the supposed Nothing speaker. We don’t even know the correct marketing name for the device at this point. Luckily we will know more in a few days.
