Tech News Desk – Nothing Year (2) is scheduled to launch on 22 March. The company has confirmed the launch date of its new premium Truly Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds in India and other markets. Nothing Year (2) will be available for purchase in India via Flipkart. Nothing says that the upcoming second-gen TWS earbuds will have better sound quality with better design. According to media reports, Carl Pei, the founder of Nothing, has shared some information about Nothing Year (2). Pei revealed in an interview with Forbes that the Nothing Ear(2) will have an IP54 rating for basic splash and sweat protection.
Nothing Year (2) is officially set to launch on March 22 in India and other global markets. Ear (2) will come with LHDC 5.0 support. This is an upgrade to the AAC codec support of Ear(1). With LHDC 5.0, users can listen to Hi-Res Audio over Bluetooth. The upcoming premium earbuds will have support for better splash and dust proof. The Ear (2) will come with an IP54 rating for water resistance. In comparison, the first-generation model came with an IPX4 rating, where no official rating was given to the earbuds for dust protection.
The Nothing Ear (2) features a stem design that is half transparent. You can also try packing two circular batteries inside the earbuds. The earbuds have silicone ear tips for extra grip and passive noise cancellation. These include support for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Transparency Mode, etc.
The new Nothing earbuds may support advanced EQ with custom settings. Apart from this, GPS tracking will be supported through the Find My Earbuds feature. Other information about Nothing earbuds has not been revealed yet. The company may release some more teasers as the launch gets closer. The earbuds will soon be available in India.
