The O2 fiber and mobile rate will reach everyone
The O2 operator has started to apply, from todaythe improvement in the rate of 50 euros (VAT incl.) that comes with Fiber 1 of 1 Gbps and Mobile 100 GB Throughout the national territory. In addition, it must be taken into account that the municipalities of the regulated area are included. And we cannot forget that this specific rate already improved for customers in the non-regulated zone (free zone) in August of this year.
However, but it was not until today, approximately a month and a half later, when the operator has applied the same conditions to customers in the regulated area. Likewise, this improvement will be given in a first phase to customers already in the regulated area who have the current rate of 600 Mbps fiber and 30 GB of mobile data for 50 euros. And, later, it will reach those who are new O2 customers who are within the regulated area.
Best of all, you don’t have to do a thing if you’re one of the lucky customers, because the feature upgrade (the increase to 1 Gbps and 100 GB) will be done automatically by the company. Also, you will have to receive an email with notification of such improvement.
We improve the rate for our customers in the Regulated Zone from 600Mb+30GB to 1Gb+100GB without changing the price of €50 (VAT incl.)
We would like to be able to improve the rest of the rates in this area but we still can’t. We continue working so that in the future there are no differences.

And for new customers in a regulated area?
As we were saying, at first this improvement will reach all those customers who had the 50-euro rate. and it won’t be until next October 10 when this same service improvement reaches new customers in the regulated area.
In any case, it will become the only convergent tariff of the operator that it’s the same for everyone, whether they are clients of the regulated zone or free zone. In addition to that, once again, we can see how O2 remains committed to applying the same improvements to all its clients, both those who already had seniority in the operator, as well as new ones. So that no new client of the company will have an advantage over others.
And although there are still differences in supply between those customers in the free zone and the regulated zone, this is a step forward. More than anything because, in the case of its best convergent rate, all customers in Spain will be able to access the same rate with the same services and with a price that remains.
