Good news continues today for users with a Samsung device, especially when we talk about the high-end. The long-awaited version One UI 6.1.1 is officially coming to the series Galaxy S24starting in South Korea today.
The company has confirmed that for users in Europe and the United States, this long-awaited layer of customization will be available from September 9thand in theory, would be preparing the ground for One UI 7Let’s take a look at some of the most interesting new features in this update and, of course, talk a little about the eligible devices.
What we will see in One UI 6.1.1
We have already talked about One UI 6.1.1 In some leaks, and certainly, we would be facing an update that will bring important improvements and integrations with its own artificial intelligence, Galaxy AIAmong the improvements that will be coming from now on, the possibility of giving a touch of realism to our drawings stands out; through AI, the system manages to interpret our doodles to obtain an incredible result.
We also have a very interesting feature for productivity: the note assistant. With this tool, we will be able to translate and generate summaries from textaudio and even images. On the other hand, there is the automatic message generator, where you just need to enter some keywords and let the magic happen.
But we believe that the most important thing in One UI 6.1.1 is Interpreter Mode and Listener Modewhich, as you might be imagining, will allow us to interact effectively and in real time with people who do not speak our language, all thanks to the new skills of Galaxy AI.
Eligible devices
As revealed, starting today in their home country, the devices that are receiving One UI 6.1.1 are the Galaxy S24 SeriesThe same will happen when the update officially arrives in our region, and will subsequently be available for the Galaxy S23, S23 FE, Z Fold 5 and Flip 5A curious fact is that at the time of receiving this update, it will be reflected as One UI 6.1 and not 6.1.1, as we would expect.
The reasons for this are completely unknown; they have only confirmed that One UI 6.1.1 will only be reflected in foldables. Z Fold/Flip 5 Series and in the Galaxy Tab S9Although these are details that don’t make much sense to us, what’s relevant is that the Korean giant has finally given the green light for its most iconic phones to receive this new layer of One UI.
If you’re wondering about Samsung’s other devices, the firm hasn’t mentioned anything yet. We’ll have to wait and see how things play out, but there are signs that the Galaxy A55, A35and even the Galaxy A54 and A34may also be eligible for this update.
