Presented in Milan on July 16, the OnePlus Nord 4 is finally available for sale. A smartphone that focuses as much on its raw performance as its unique design.
It’s no coincidence that OnePlus chose Milan to present its Nord 4. What better city than the capital of Italian fashion to unveil a smartphone with such a luxurious design?
True to its heritage, OnePlus has not bet everything on the aesthetics of its new device. The OnePlus Nord 4 is a powerful and generous smartphone as the manufacturer is used to making.
On the occasion of its launch, OnePlus is allowing you to get the Nord 4 at a preferential rate. Thanks to an immediate discount of 50 euros, its price drops to 549 euros, while a protective case or a 100 W SuperVOOC charger is offered.
A 100% “Made of Metal” phone
Don’t worry about how the back and frame of the OnePlus Nord 4 are assembled, it is cast in one piece. The manufacturer has managed to create a unibody smartphone, and this is a first for a 5G smartphone. The OnePlus Nord 4 has a unique and refined design. Its design is reminiscent of luxury objects.
For this, OnePlus uses aluminum. This even inspired the metal band Lordi, who passed through Eurovision, to produce the song “Made of Metal” .
The metallic appearance does not, however, hinder the handling of the OnePlus Nord 4. The manufacturer has taken care of the dimensions of its new phone, which measures only 7.99 mm thick. The frame surrounding the screen does not exceed 1.46 mm. OnePlus has also chosen a 6.74-inch 120 Hz OLED panel to dress the front face. Thanks to Aqua Touch technology, it is even possible to use it with wet fingers.
Finally, and despite this unique assembly, the OnePlus Nord 4 still has the brand’s own Alert Slider. This small button on the edge allows you to put the phone in silent mode without having to unlock it.
Speed still the watchword
If OnePlus releases a smartphone that is prettier than those of the competition, it is not by sacrificing its performance.
The Nord 4 thus benefits from the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, from the latest generation of Qualcomm SoCs. This chip inherits extensive artificial intelligence capabilities since it is capable of running various AI models locally.
This is what allows the OnePlus Nord 4 to benefit from OnePlus Intelligence, the brand’s in-house assistant. This AI can thus summarize audio recordings – such as those of meetings – or even produce summaries of articles from screenshots.
The magic also works on the photo part, thanks to a magic eraser — to remove unwanted elements in the background — or even intelligent clipping.
The OnePlus Nord 4 is also a smartphone that is built to last. The manufacturer assures that the phone will remain fluid for the next six years. Four major Android updates are also guaranteed.
Finally, the OnePlus Nord 4 benefits from the manufacturer’s 100-watt SuperVOOC fast charge. It only takes 28 minutes to go from 0 to 100% battery. OnePlus also ensures that its battery remains in optimal condition for four years thanks to its Battery Health Intelligence technology.
A new smartphone that is part of a complete ecosystem
OnePlus’ expertise in high-tech devices is not limited to smartphones. The manufacturer has a large catalog of products, which continues to expand over the years.
The firm thus took advantage of the launch of the OnePlus Nord 4 to unveil brand-new products. In 2024 alone, OnePlus released:
- the OnePlus Pad 2 (499 euros), the powerful tablet with a large 3K screen and 67-watt fast charging;
- the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro (69 euros), affordable wireless earphones with powerful bass and active noise reduction;
- the OnePlus Watch 2R (249 euros), a connected watch running WearOS and benefiting from great battery life.
Want to get a foot in the OnePlus ecosystem without breaking the bank? To mark the launch of the Nord 4, the manufacturer is putting together a particularly attractive launch offer.
The OnePlus Nord 4 is priced at 549 euros, instead of 599 euros, while a protective case or a 100 W SuperVOOC charger is offered. OnePlus is also offering a bonus of 50 euros against the trade-in of your old smartphone. Enough to lower the bill even more significantly.
