The Galaxy Wearable application provides interesting details on Samsung’s future connected ring. We learn in particular its probable name as well as its probable year of release.
Like the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy S21 FE, both mistakenly confirmed by Samsung before their release, the Korean giant may have just spilled the beans on its next new product category, connected rings.
Spotted by 9to5Googlea post from a user on a korean forum explains that when opening the Galaxy Wearable application files, an icon strongly resembling a connected ring appeared. There she is :

Name and release date possibly confirmed
The site 9to5Google for its part, pushed the investigations a little further by decompiling the latest version of the Galaxy Wearable application and found several elements corroborating the thesis of a Galaxy Ring.
First discovery: the name Galaxy Ring is visible in the application code. This confirms previous rumors, like the one last February which noted the trademark registration by Samsung.
The estimated release date is also one of the elements unearthed. This would be set for 2024. Unless Samsung integrates new Unpacked into its calendar, which seems unlikely, the Galaxy Ring could therefore be unveiled either at the start of the year, alongside the Galaxy S24, or during the he summer with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 as well as the Galaxy Watch 7. Recently, the leaker Ice Universe was leaning more towards a presentation that would steal the show from the Galaxy S24.
Just like its other accessories, Samsung would have planned the installation of a plug-in attached to its Galaxy Wearable application to allow the watch and your Android smartphone to communicate.
