After last year’s OPPO A36 comes the new OPPO A38. The company has skipped the OPPO A37, although the truth is that a terminal with that name was launched no less than in 2016.
The OPPO A38 is a new 4G mid-range mobile, with Helio G85, a pretty cool design, 50-megapixel dual camera, screen at 90 Hz and battery with fast charge.

A resistant mobile with a 90 Hz screen
The OPPO A38 is a new OPPO proposal for those looking for a cheap mobile that is easy on the eye and will do just about any task, but don’t get too fancy. A mobile to walk around the house.
Inside it includes the Helium G85 from MediaTek with gamer aspirations, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM with the possibility of using virtual RAM and 128 GB of storage that can be complemented with a MicroSD memory card.
The terminal repeats the design philosophy of other OPPO launches, with semi-flat edges (the thickness is 8.16 millimeters) and a tablet-shaped module for the cameras. In this module we find two lenses: a main 50 megapixel f / 1.8 and a 2-megapixel secondary for portrait mode.
In front, the OPPO A38 mounts a screen 6.56-inch LCD with HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a touch response rate of 90 Hz. The maximum nits go up to 720 in this generation. The 5-megapixel front camera is housed in a drop-shaped notch.
The OPPO A38 boasts of having IPX4 / IP5X resistance certification against dust and splashes and mounts a battery of 5,000 mAh that supports 33W fast charging. It has a fingerprint reader on the power button and goes on sale with Android 13 with Color OS 13.1.
Versions and prices of the OPPO A38
The OPPO A38 is officially listed on the OPPO website in several countries such as Vietnam, Malaysia or the United Arab Emirates for a price to change around 119 euros for the single version of 4+128 GB. It is available in the colors black and gold.
