The French operator has just started a commercial pilot of sale and installation of solar panels among its clients under the Orange Energía brand with Powen. With this, it joins Movistar and Yoigo, which already offer this self-consumption solution with Solar360 and EnergyGO Solar, respectively.

Orange has just announced its alliance with Powen, a company specializing in the design, installation and management of sustainable energy solutions. The objective of this agreement is, according to the operator, “to promote among its clients the use of clean energy sources and savings through photovoltaic self-consumption”.
under the brand Orange Energy with Powenboth companies have started a commercial pilot for the sale and installation of solar panels aimed exclusively at Orange customers residing in single-family homes.
The operator assures that the installation of this type of energy could report savings of up to 70% regarding current light consumption, depending on the customer’s consumption pattern and the light generated by the panels installed in their home.
With Orange Energía, Powen will offer Orange customers a complete and personalized plan for the implementation of solar self-consumption in your home. This includes the advice of specialized professionals, as well as the request and management of existing subsidies for this type of energy.
The good news is that those customers who contract Orange Energía with Powen will have a discount of up to 100 euros on your bill telephone and Internet (as long as they maintain their fixed communications contract with Orange for 12 months). In addition, they will be able to finance their installation with flexible conditions.
